The Basics of Event Finding

There are several tools to help find birddoggable events. Each method will return some of the same events, as well as some that are different.

FACEBOOK: Go directly to an elected official's Facebook page and look under their "events" tab

GOOGLE: Do a quick search for your candidate's name and the city/state you're in + events, such as "Elizabeth Warren Las Vegas events"

MOBILIZE AMERICA: Most candidates will have events listed on Mobilize America's website, go ahead and use the URL http://mobilize.us/[candidate's name] and chances are, they'll have a page up. For example: https://www.mobilize.us/kamalaharris/ , https://www.mobilize.us/corybooker/

Note: These won't all be events WITH the candidate, some are events like watch parties + phone banking

TOWN HALL PROJECT: Town Hall Project's website lists all types of events with elected officials, from standard town halls with Reps to campaign events with Presidential hopefuls. Check out https://townhallproject.com/
